Director of Residence Life
The Director is responsible for vision, leadership, and supervision of a comprehensive, 2660 bed residence life program that includes ten professional staff and more than 150 student leaders. This position also participates as a member of the Student Services Senior staff. Residence Life is committed to an outstanding student residential experience and the concept that students should have the opportunity for growth and development outside of the classroom. The Director of Residence Life is responsible for the overall operation and success of the on-campus residential community.

Assistant Director - Programming and Staffing
The assistant director for Staff and Residence Education provides leadership and vision for the development and implementation of residential education initiatives, support for our growing on-campus community, and the facilitation of an engaging student learning experience within the residence halls at Colorado Mesa University. The assistant director directly supervises six full-time, live-in professionals and provides leadership for more than 200 undergraduate student leaders in Residence Life.

The Manager of Operations and Technology participates in the overall administration and management of Residence Life. In collaboration with the Assistant Director of Operations, the manager is responsible for daily office operations, student room applications, assignments, occupancy, and billing for Residence Life.

Live-In Professional Staff
Area Coordinators and Residence Hall Coordinators are responsible for the day-to-day leadership and supervision of the student learning experience within the residence halls. As live-in professionals, the Area and Residence Hall Coordinators connect with students regarding academic, community, roommate relationship, and student conduct concerns — as well as many other issues. These professionals have offices located in within their respective residence halls.
Area and Residence Hall Coordinators directly supervise 9-17 Resident Assistant student leaders and 10-25 Desk Attendant staff, as well as provide leadership for Residence Hall Councils within their respective areas.
