Colorado Mesa University's budget office is responsible for the management of the university's budgets and fiscal planning to support the university's strategic goals. This includes:
- Planning, development and executing the university's budget process
- Providing centralized access to budgetary information for internal units of the university as well as reporting to external state, federal, and private entities and governing bodies. Including financial analysis to university decision makers such as administrators, faculty and staff.
- The budget office provides consultation and support to various departments on how to improve financial management awareness.
